70 years ago, on October 10, 1954, Hà Nội was officially liberated, opening the era of building socialism in the North and fighting to liberate the South to unify the country. The history of Hà Nội is always closely linked to the history of the struggle for national liberation as well as the construction and development of the country today.
After 70 years, Hà Nội has grown strongly to become one of the largest cities, a center of development in all aspects of the country, receiving the title “City for Peace” in 1999, “Creative City” in 2019 of the region and the world.
