On May 26, 2023, on his page, Mr Christophe Claret, the founder of Swiss watch company Christophe Claret introduced a new watch design of the company. It’s great that this is a watch model depicting the image of Hai Bà Trưng.
The design is from “Legend Westminster Minute Repeater Flying Tourbillon” collection. These models combine history and modern technology with famous figures in human history.
In the Legend collection, the first watch was released in May 2021 with the image of Napoleon Bonaparte. The second was released next year, 2022. Christophe Claret wrote on his page: “I want to pay homage to the two sisters Trưng nammed “Hai Bà Trưng”, two vietnamese heroines of the first century, who repelled Chinese attacks for 3 years.
“Hai Bà Trưng” is a Westminster flying tourbillon minute repeater provided with a 4 jaquemart automatons featuring Hai Bà Trưng.
Entirely handmade miniature painting, by Mr André Martinez, is thus staged in the new painting of the Legend unique piece collection of Christophe Claret.
The Westminster minute repeater mechanism allows you to play a musical tune when the quarters ring. Each quarters has a different ringtone “C D E G; G D E C; E G D C.” This ringtone, resulting from a collaboration between Christophe Claret and a virtuoso violinist, offers notes with optimal quality.”
