The first edition of Contemporary Art Online auction in 2022 offers a fantastic selection of works by sought-after contemporary artists including Aboudia, Baldur Helgason, Damien Hirst, Edgar Plans, Michael Kagan and Mr Doodle. Opening the same day as International Women’s Day, we celebrate the works of more than twenty female artists, ranging from the internationally established market darlings to young rising stars. The lineup includes Yayoi Kusama, Rhee Seundja, Chiharu Shiota, Danielle Orchard, Stickymonger, Super Future Kid and Vivien Zhang. The auction also marks the first online sale to incorporate NFTs.

In this sale, we celebrate the remarkable women who have broken boundaries to reach new artistic heights. This selection represents a cross-section of leadings works from the contemporary art world and underscores the importance of women’s representation in the art world. Their works express a distinctly rich narrative with a unique tapestry of experience that covers diverse geographies and generations.
